ISG is constantly asked what is happening to The Super Show. To be frank, the only news seems to be the names of exhibitors pulling out of Orlando. Last week, SGMA president Tom Cove told his Baseball & Softball Committee that the association reaped $1.8 million from the '05 show. For this January, the budget projects only $400,000. The show is such a poor draw that committee members decided not to have their usual meeting at the show as most were not exhibiting.
Johnson received two separate orders for the Modular General Purpose Tent System totaling $6.2 million and a $2.7 million order for tent floors and liners, all with anticipated delivery in 1H06. As a result of these recent orders, the company has now received eight separate orders totaling $12.5 million awarded under the multi-vendor, multi-product contract announced on September 7. Its outlook for military tent sales in FY06 remains unchanged.
ellesse hired The Bromley Group to create a PR campaign that will include media relations, celebrity seeding, and special events. "Communicating ellesse as an aspirational, Italian sportswear brand is the first step toward growing the brand in the US market," stated Amie Turrill Owens, VP/GM of ellesse USA. "The second step is hiring an agency that understands our target and can help us reach this premium segment. The Bromley Group, a company well known for its expertise in apparel, footwear and retail will be instrumental in helping us achieve our goals."
Prudential initiated coverage of Wolverine with a neutral rating.
