Fila appointed Stefano di Martino managing director of European operations, effective immediately. His recent tenures were at HTM Italia and Nike. Di Martino spent two years with HTM Italia, acting as president/managing director. He additionally served as the European sales director and as the energy/trend director of Nike, overseeing the EMEA markets from '89 to '04.
Jeffrey Gitomer, who brought the audience to its feet following his first sporting goods industry speaking appearance in '03, will return to the 42nd Annual NSGA Management Conference & 8th Annual Team Dealer Summit. Pelican Products named Don Jordan VP/finance. Prior to joining Pelican, he served in senior-level positions at several high-technology and service oriented companies that include Korn/Ferry International, Futurestep, Hughes Electronics and KPMG.
MarineMax will replace Haggar Corp. in the S&P SmallCap 600 Index after the close of trading on November 1.
