The Sports Authority Makes Campisi President

SEPTEMBER 14, 2005 -- The Sports Authority promoted David Campisi to president of the company. Campisi joined Sports Authority in November '04 as the president of merchandising. In his new position he will continue to be responsible for all merchandising, planning, allocation and replenishment efforts, and will now assume responsibility for the advertising and marketing departments. Campisi will continue to report to CEO/COB Doug Morton.
