NOVEMBER 12, 2004 -- Nautilus, GE Commercial Finance To Assist Commercial Customers

The Nautilus Group entered into a long-term strategic alliance with GE Commercial Finance, Vendor Financial Services, to provide its commercial fitness customers with financial solutions. A global financing partner is important as Nautilus introduces a wave of new products to supply a complete line of commercial fitness equipment products. New commercial products from Nautilus will include treadmills, variable-stride ellipticals, strength equipment, and a commercial version of its popular Treadclimber cardiovascular machine.

Gregg Hammann, COB/CEO of The Nautilus Group, said the relationship with Vendor Financial Services includes providing multi-year leasing and financing arrangements to commercial customers beginning immediately. They also can accommodate a broader range of financial profiles, and can turn transactions under $100,000 within one business day and larger transactions within two business days under most circumstances.

Eagle Creek Seeks In-Kind Support For Ebay Auction To Support The Hungry

Ten years after its first foray in food bank drives, adventure travel-gear maker Eagle Creek is again spearheading efforts to collect food and raise money to support its headquarters "neighbor," the San Diego North County Food Bank (www.northcountyfoodbank.org), which feeds nearly 100,000 families during the holidays.

In addition to its goal of collecting 25,000 pounds of food by December 10, Eagle Creek has recently reached out to outdoor and travel industry leaders for product donations for an eBay Silent Auction to raise money to support the Food Bank's operations. Thus far, Eagle Creek expresses its appreciation to Cloudveil, Ex-Officio, Gramicci, Patagonia, The North Face and Yakima for their gear and apparel contributions for the online auction.

With time running out, Eagle Creek is calling on all industry manufacturers to consider cash, in-kind and/or non-perishable food donations to support this worthy cause. Eagle Creek is facilitating the receipt and delivery of food and is managing the eBay auction. All in-kind and food contributions must be received by November 19 at: Eagle Creek, ATTN: Adam Ziegelman, 3055 Enterprise Court,
Vista, CA 92081, Phone: 760/599-6500 The "weigh-in" of food contributions will take place on December 19, at which time Eagle Creek will report to all participants and the outdoor industry the results of this philanthropic effort.

Head cited the costs of compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, saying they will impact its operating result. In light of these costs, Head is preparing a cost-benefit analysis of its listing on the NYSE. It would continue to be traded in Austria and the Netherlands, no matter what the study recommends.
