Finish Line's Continuing Loss Shrinks
The Finish Line reported sales dropped 4.4% in the third quarter ended Nov. 29, to $256.9 million from $268.7 million a year ago. Consolidated comps decreased 3.6%. By concept, comps dipped 3.3% at Finish Line and fell 6.8% at Man Alive. The retailer reported a loss from continuing operations of $8.8 million, or 16 cents a share, in the period compared to a continuing loss of $13.8 million, or 29 cents, a year ago... (1/6/2009)
